Fuller Age - Outta Town

Woke up that morning with a feeling of dread
The air itself felt as heavy as lead
Didn't wanna leave, but what could I do?

Walk out the door, what a terrible sight
I didn't want to believe my own eyes
How could such a thing ever be true?

Undead zombies had taken the streets
Bringing down everybody in their path
Looking so desperate to spread their evil disease
Taking lives by denying death

I saw a fireman chopping down heads
And people's guts hanging on by a thread
Things that nobody should be forced to see

And so the thought struck me - I gotta run
I have no blade on me, I've got no gun
And that's when a vision came to me

This is no joke, I just saw it there
Waiting for someone to come out and pick
If it had an owner, I didn't know and just couldn't care
I found me a Mustang 1976!

Driving like mad, going steady and fast
I finally saw the first highway lights
And when I hit the pedal to the gas
I knew that things were gonna be all right
